The act
Live saxophone over orchestral backing tracks is an unusual thing to hear at a wedding, and it's what Jake Sietsma built his Hunter Valley work on. He plays solo sax for the ceremony, then handles the reception as DJ and MC with the sax layered live over the tracks, so one person covers the whole day. He's a regular on the Hunter Valley wedding and restaurant circuit, with work at Moravia Park and Peterson's House in Pokolbin, Tamburlaine and around Lake Macquarie. The repertoire runs from romantic ceremony pieces to party songs: Adele, Alicia Keys, Amy Winehouse, Bill Withers, Ben E King, Billy Joel, Bruno Mars. Public liability, products liability and professional indemnity insurance are all held.
