Our evening was superb and we had a lot of comments from our Clients on how much they had enjoyed it and several even said it was the best IDP Client Dinner they had been to. The venue was a star of the show, but the success of the evening was due in no small part to Ingrid, Julian and Scott. From the moment I was introduced to Ingrid she was warm, friendly, and very accommodating to our needs. Their performances were excellent and much appreciated by everyone – they are clearly exceptional musicians and Ingrid has a unique voice which is a joy to listen to. Ingrid, Julian and Scott adapted on the evening to changes in our planned running order and did so uncomplainingly and with good grace. They were discreet when it came time for them to leave (even though our guests were still with us) and I honestly couldn’t have asked for more from them in terms of their performance, professionalism, and the accommodating way in which they were focused on helping us make the evening a success. Please pass on my sincere thanks to Ingrid, Julian and Scott and let them know that in my view they were a significant factor in making our evening as special as it was. I would be happy to recommend them at any time in the future. The act
A Queensland based jazz singer and teacher whose CV runs a long way past this state. Ingrid James has sung on national television, and shared stages with the Queensland Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras at the performing arts centres in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. London has seen her at Ronnie Scott's, the 606 Club, Pizza Express Jazz Club and Spice of Life, with more dates through France, Monaco and Prague. She holds a chair in the 19 piece Brisbane Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, led by David Humphreys, and works alongside Louise Denson on their Wild Silk Strings Project. Book her as a duo, trio, quartet or quintet for corporate nights, cocktail functions, concerts and festivals. Awards have followed.
