In The Mood builds entertainment for older audiences using familiar songs, trivia, humour and a touch of tap dancing. The pair draw on backgrounds that range from classical piano recitals to rock and roll performances. Their approach also incorporates adult learning, gerontology and ideas from music therapy when engaging older members of an audience. The duo also released a subtitled singalong DVD called Singsational, created especially for aged care homes and sold across Australia.

Phillip and Ailsa have built a name as a duo who turn up when they say they will and deliver what they promised. That name now stretches from Greater Melbourne and Geelong out through Hamilton, Penshurst, Ouyen and Mildura, and on to Shepparton, Sea Lake and Alexandra. They've made a sing-along DVD called Singsational, subtitled and made specifically for aged care homes, which has sold right around the country. That's Life Magazine ran a feature on them too.
About a metre and a half square is all the room they take up. Power is preferred but they can manage without it, which makes them easy to place in an older building. They turn up half an hour before the music starts, and they need to be able to park close by or at least drop the gear off near the door.
