Mel - Extreme Hula Hooper
The act
Mel - Extreme Hula Hooper is a Sydney-based hula hoop act.
A single hoop starts it, then the picture keeps getting bigger until there are six spinning at once and, in the Human Slinky finale, up to 50 hoops moving around Mel at the same time. It's a full stage spectacle, fast and very physical, built more for a moment when you want guests watching the floor than chatting over drinks. For a wedding in a darker room, the LED version would make far more sense; there are also fire hoop routines if your venue and plans lean that way. She's based in Sydney and has also appeared on Australia's Got Talent, with footage picked up by People Are Awesome and the Daily Mail. This suits a wedding that wants a proper visual centrepiece and guests who'll enjoy a bold stage act.
