Venues keep re-booking Herding Katz, which tells you more than any pitch would. The Newcastle band play covers across the 70s through to now, with a song list they keep adding to: 3AM, Better Be Home Soon, Blister In The Sun, All Fired Up, Australia Street, Beautiful Crazy, Boys In Town. They arrive with the full PA and lighting, plus a sound and lighting technician of their own, and they'll run music between sets. All they need from the room is power and a dance floor. Clubs, private parties and corporate events are all regular work.

What to expect
Herding Katz are built for a room that wants to dance rather than listen politely. The players are experienced and it shows in how tight the sets are and how quickly they read a crowd. Song lists get updated as new things land, so you're not hearing a set frozen in 2015. They can also carry the technical side of your night, PA and lighting included, with recorded music running between sets so the floor never empties out.
On the day
Power. That's genuinely the whole request. The band supply the PA, the lighting and their own sound technician, which means nobody from your venue has to stand at a mixing desk hoping for the best. It also means one less supplier for you to chase. A dance floor is worth having, but the equipment side is entirely theirs.
