The act
Once the wedding floor opens, Headhunters can hand the spotlight to your guests for live band karaoke. People sign up, choose from more than 200 songs and sing onstage with the band, with lyrics and a little help available along the way. If you would rather leave the singing to the musicians, their covers show can draw on seventies, eighties and nineties music alongside rock, pop, emo and metal. The three core players are bassist Nadia Ricciotti, drummer Elliott Orban and guitarist Marcelo Machado, joined by singers and karaoke hosts selected for each show. What to expect
Headhunters run two different nights and it's worth deciding which one you want. The covers show is the straightforward one: you name the era or flavour, 70s through 90s, Aussie rock, classic rock, pop rock, something chilled or something heavy, and they build the set around it. Live band karaoke is the other. Your guests get on stage and sing with a real band behind them instead of a backing track, with lyrics up on stage and the band ready to cover for you when you forget a line. There are more than 200 songs to pick from, Taylor Swift through to Metallica.
On the day
PA, background music and party lights can all be supplied by the band if you need them. Worth saying in your enquiry what the venue already has, so nothing gets doubled up.
