Groove Factory
The act
Five pieces, and barely a pause between songs. That's the whole idea behind Groove Factory. They run current pop and R&B into classic funk and retro material as one continuous set, so the dance floor never gets the natural break where people wander off to the bar and don't come back. The night only travels one way: relaxed early, properly funky by the end. The players are the reason it works, and they're hard on themselves about the energy level. Good fit for upmarket venues and corporate events across Sydney. If the room or the budget is smaller, the same act works as a duo or trio.

The entertainment at the event Groove Factory went well. They were easy to communicate with and arrange the details for access and supportive of my singing a couple of songs at the event. The setup went well and the idiosyncrasies of the venue were managed well. The band played well, people were impressed at the quality of the band and commented on it during the night. It was a good vibe and they were flexible with the audience, especially the kids that we had in attendance, getting them to hop on the stage and dance :) Overall it was a good experience and I would hire them for another event if I was to hold one.
