On the day
Power, and a covered spot to play in. Greg carries the sound, the lighting and the reception production himself, so once you've sorted somewhere with a roof and a power point, there's nothing else to arrange on your side.
Greg Doney
The act
Greg Doney is a Noosa Heads-based wedding band.
Acoustic guitars, shared vocals and harmonies form the starting sound of Greg Doney's wedding options. A duo can lead into a DJ set, while a trio adds either drums or saxophone. The line-up can grow through four and six member versions, and DJ playlists remain available. Greg's background includes hundreds of wedding receptions across the Sunshine Coast, from Noosa to Maleny. This is for a couple who want live acoustic music through dinner and a clear change of pace for shared dancing with all their guests later in the wedding reception.

Good to know
Performance options
Start with two acoustic guitars and harmony vocals, ukulele if you want it, then a DJ set to finish once people are dancing. That pairing is the one most couples land on: live music through the ceremony and dinner, current tracks later. From there it grows. A trio adds drums or saxophone. A four piece brings in electric guitar and bass, with DJ sets covering the breaks so the music never stops. Five adds a saxophone for a horn sound, and the six piece adds keys on top of that. The songs run from Van Morrison and Crowded House through to John Legend and Robbie Williams, whichever size you go with.
