Goodstock started life in 2008 as Parker Avenue and has been a fixture of the Perth scene ever since. They usually work as a trio, which keeps the footprint small and the setlist flexible, and they can add a violinist for a four-piece when a night calls for it. The range is genuinely wide: The Beatles, Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison at one end, Elton John and Queen through the middle, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa and Luke Combs at the other. They'll also commit to a theme properly if you want one, whether that's an all-country night or a straight sixties party. PA and lighting come included for rooms up to 150. Thirty minutes to set up without production, an hour and a half with it. Between sets they'll run their own music, or plug in your playlist.

The setlist covers a lot of ground, from The Beatles and Johnny Cash through Elton John and Queen and out the other side to The Weeknd and Dua Lipa. That range is deliberate, because a room with three generations in it needs songs for all of them. Goodstock have been playing Perth since 2008 and their calendar says most of it. They can also strip right back to a quiet acoustic three piece with a cut-down kit, for the nights where a band shouldn't be the main event.
A stage or floor space around four metres by six. If you're supplying the sound, they need half an hour to get set. Bringing their own PA and lighting takes longer, so allow an hour and a half from load-in to first song. Worth building that into the run sheet, because it's the bit that gets squeezed when the room turns over late.
