Georgie Aué
The act
Georgie Aue is an Australian pianist, vocalist and songwriter whose music moves between jazz, blues and Brazilian jazz. She studied jazz performance at Adelaide's Elder Conservatorium, initially on piano, before bringing her singing into the same practice. Since graduating in 2007, Georgie has developed original projects and performed at Adelaide Fringe, Cabaret Fringe and other festivals and cabaret events. Her band presented shows exploring Norah Jones and The Beatles across several Adelaide festival seasons. She has also appeared regularly at venues in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide, including Paris Cat, El Rocco, The Promethean and The Wheatsheaf. The Brazilian Project gives her particular interest in Brazilian jazz a dedicated musical home.
