Live entertainment is Gabrielle Lambe's full time job, not a weekend thing. She's performed on cruise lines, at weddings and at corporate events, and works alongside session players from around Brisbane. Guitar and voice sit at the centre of what she does, with looping, acoustic duo and wedding work all part of the mix, covering 60s and 70s material through to pop, folk, funk and R&B. The practical stuff gets handled properly too: clear communication beforehand, on time arrival, tidy production setup. A power source somewhere near where she'll be playing is the main thing. If the event is outdoors, she'll need cover over the performance spot, protecting both her and the gear from rain and from direct sun. Beyond that she brings what she needs and sets it up herself.
