The G&Ts run out of Adelaide through Mustang Sally, Son of a Preacher Man, Superstition, Chain of Fools, Respect, Play That Funky Music, Disco Inferno, Le Freak and September, with the brass lifting the rhythm section and the vocalists riding on top. This is a band for a function where dancing is the plan, not a possibility. Stage risers for the horns are appreciated if the venue has them.

Soul, funk and disco, one familiar title after another, with the horn section pushing the rhythm along and the vocals sitting on top of it. The G&Ts don't ease into a night and they don't leave long gaps for the floor to empty. If your guests are the sort who need a couple of drinks before they'll move, this is the band that shortens that wait.
There's a three piece horn section, and stage risers for them make a real difference if your venue has any. Brass carries further and reads better with a bit of height behind the rhythm section. Not essential, but ask the venue before you rule it out.
