G and T - George and Tim

The act

A nylon string guitar against a steel string one, two voices and a real love of harmony. George and Tim cover the 60s and 70s and later: Beatles, Dylan, Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Jim Croce, with Norwegian Wood, Heart of Gold, The Boxer, Come Together and Make You Feel My Love in the book, and new songs going in all the time. They bring their own PA, mics, stands and both guitars. And they're compact, which matters in a small room. A small level area, preferably covered, is all the space they need.

Good to know

What to expect

George and Tim turn up with the lot: a PA system, microphones, stands and both acoustic guitars. So the venue doesn't need to lend you a thing. Two voices, two guitars, and a book of 60s and 70s songs that keeps growing. It's an easy booking to organise, which is half the point of a duo.

On the day

Being a duo, they don't need much floor. A small level area does it, and covered is better than open if there's any chance of weather. Level matters more than size here, since guitar stands and a PA on a slope is asking for trouble.
