What to expect
The more you tell them about your event, the better the plan gets, and that's genuinely how they work. Specific songs can be learned for you if you ask early enough. They're accommodating about the details, and they'll answer whatever questions come up along the way. Friendly people who happen to play well, which is a better combination than it sounds.
On the day
Two separate power outlets, and a clear flat space for the gear to go up. All the sound and lighting equipment comes with the band, so nothing needs hiring in on your end.
Set List
Modern pop and party is the centre of gravity. Uptown Funk, Shut Up and Dance, Can't Stop the Feeling, Blank Space, Shake It Off, Price Tag, All About That Bass, Raise Your Glass, Funhouse, Sorry, Love Yourself, Starships and Everybody keep a floor busy. Older weight comes from Sweet Home Alabama, Proud Mary, Nutbush City Limits, Jessie's Girl, I Was Made for Lovin' You, Footloose, Come On Eileen, 500 Miles, Summer of '69, Wannabe and Blister in the Sun. The Australian songs land hardest late: Khe Sanh, April Sun in Cuba, Rain, Run to Paradise, You're the Voice, The Horses and Live Louder. And there's room for the slower or moodier ones, with Valerie, Hold Back the River, The Lazy Song, Pompeii, Crazy, Ex's and Oh's, Forget You, The Way You Make Me Feel, Sex on Fire, Man I Feel Like a Woman, What's Up, You Oughta Know, Shake a Tail Feather and I'm Every Woman. Requests are welcome.
Performance options
Three packages, and each one can be reshaped to suit you. The biggest covers the entire event, with the band set up before guests arrive and packed down after they've gone: live ceremony music from an acoustic duo including the processional, signing and recessional songs, a pre-ceremony set as guests arrive and a post-ceremony set as they leave, then a 45 minute cocktail trio, then three 50 minute reception sets. The middle option drops the ceremony and keeps the cocktail trio plus the full reception. The smallest is the reception on its own, three 50 minute sets or the equivalent. Add-ons include a mirror photo booth, a ceremony duo or trio, a dinner set, extra 45 minute cocktail sets, a male vocalist and a professional MC. Depending where your venue is, travel and accommodation for the band may need arranging.
