A varied set and a good-natured room, which is most of what you want from a function band. They'll work around speeches and whatever else your running order throws up, and they're happy to shuffle things on the day if the night moves differently than planned. That flexibility is the bit people notice afterwards.
Standard 240 volt power, flat ground, and shelter that keeps off both rain and dew. A raised stage is preferred over playing on the deck. Allow at least three metres by four for the duo, or six by four for the full band.

And with prior notice they'll arrange a song by the original artist to be played for a moment like the bridal waltz.
