Four part unaccompanied harmony gives Endeavour Harmony Chorus a sound that can fill a wedding space without instruments. You can choose a group of twenty five singers or expand as far as the full seventy member chorus. The ensemble won the Australian Choral Grand Prix and Australasian Choral Championships in 2016 and was ranked tenth worldwide in its style. Seventy voices and not a single instrument. Four part a cappella harmony, sung with real energy, and in the right room it genuinely fills the space. The songs run from soulful ballads through to contemporary hits, and many of them come with choreography rather than rows of people standing still. Come December there's a full set of carols and Christmas songs, and for Anzac Day or a citizenship ceremony they have a run of Australian songs ready to go.
It depends on the venue. In some rooms they'll want amplification, which means a couple of good multi-directional microphones on stands. Tiered choral risers help a lot if your venue has them, though plenty of performances happen with everyone standing on the floor and it works fine.
You can book anything from a small ensemble of around 25 singers up to the full chorus of seventy, depending on the room and the occasion. Programmes are built to suit: a general mix of entertaining songs, a Christmas set, or an Australian selection for patriotic occasions.
