Elevation's wedding formats range from two players to eight, with male and female singers among the possible instrumentation. The instrumentation can include drums, bass, acoustic and electric guitars, keyboard and live brass. Band members share a century of music industry experience and have played together for almost a decade. Their work is audience focused, with song selection planned carefully before a relaxed and spontaneous performance unfolds onstage. The natural moment is the shift from an acoustic duo over canapes into a five piece reception band, a format already used at a wedding.

What to expect
Careful behind the scenes, relaxed once the show starts. That's the split, and it's the right way round. Songs get chosen with your taste and your crowd in mind, the presentation is sharp, and you're dealing with the same people from the first email through to the day itself. On stage the mood loosens right up, with the band leading the good times by having them first. The musicianship holds it all together. Between them the members have a collective century in the industry, they've played together for close to a decade, and their other projects have taken them through Europe, Japan, America, the Caribbean and every corner of Australia.
On the day
Audio and basic lighting are supplied for most events up to around 300 guests. From you they need 240 volt mains power, a flat solid surface to set up on, and something overhead to keep the gear dry if the weather turns.
Performance options
Elevation Band scales to fit. One player on their own, or two, three, four, five, six, seven, right up to eight on stage. There are male and female singers in the line-up, and the bigger versions fill out with live brass, keys, drums, bass and guitars both acoustic and electric. So a quiet duo through canapes and a full band after dinner can both come out of the same booking. Tell them the size you have in mind and where the venue is, and they will put a quote together around it.
