Phoebe Deklerk trained at WAAPA and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, and has sung professionally since 2011. Churches, garden weddings, concert stages. The repertoire is genuinely wide, running from Bach and Handel through Mendelssohn, Vivaldi and Lehar to Gilbert and Sullivan, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Leonard Cohen and Rodgers and Hammerstein. She'll work through the song list with you beforehand, and if you give her a theme she'll check the choices against the mood you're after. New songs can be learned, with about two months notice. She performs solo with backing tracks, or alongside a pianist or string trio. Based in Perth.

What to expect
The song list is the first conversation, not an afterthought. Phoebe works through it with you, and if you tell her the theme or the mood you're after she'll go back over the choices and check they suit the ambience you've described. New songs are possible if there's something specific you want, though she needs about two months' notice, or the request in at the time you book. What lands on the day is a performance built for your event rather than a standard set with your name on it.
On the day
Solo with backing tracks needs a power point within two metres of where you'd like her to sing, plus parking nearby or a drop-off point close to the entrance. If she's performing with a pianist or a string trio and there's no piano at the venue, the pianist will need a power point on the same terms. Allow around two metres square per person for the space.
