The act
Four hours of material, ranging from soft background music through to the songs that fill a dance floor. Dylan Raath sings The Beatles, Bon Jovi, Paul Kelly, Foo Fighters, Mumford & Sons, George Ezra and Tones and I, and if you ask for something he knows, he'll have a go at it. Depending on the function he'll learn a handful of special songs just for you. Acoustic guitar is the main instrument, with ukulele and harmonica appearing when the mood suits, and a loop pedal filling out the harmonies. He plays weddings, pubs, birthdays and sports club functions, and being a Carlton fan he particularly enjoys their club nights, though he'll admit to enjoying the Richmond ones too. Based in Wodonga. He brings all his own gear and needs a power source and a few metres of space. Public liability insurance.

What to expect
He brings all his own equipment. What he needs from you is a power source and a few metres of floor, and that's the honest end of the list. Acoustic guitar does most of the work, with the ukulele and harmonica coming out when a song wants them, and a loop pedal that lets him stack harmonies so a solo set doesn't sound like one. The setlist runs to about four hours of material, from soft background playing right through to the songs that pull people onto the floor. Ask and he'll send the full list over before you decide.
On the day
He likes to arrive thirty to sixty minutes before playing to get everything set up without rushing. The gear is expensive, so indoors is his preference, but outdoor gigs are no trouble at all provided there's some cover from the weather. A power source is the one real requirement, and an extension cable or two if the nearest point is a distance away. Space-wise, enough room for one person and a couple of speakers on stands, which usually means about three metres by two.
Performance options
The booking gets shaped around the type of function, and there are a few different packages depending on whether it's a wedding, a pub night, a birthday or a sports club function. Length and format shift with it. Send through what you're planning and the options come back suited to that rather than a standard list you have to work around.
