The act
The dance focused stretch of your wedding reception could be a lively place for Dr Boogie, whose five piece performance combines electronic rhythms and multiple voices. The Perth band's sound includes electronic drums, synthesizers, sample pads and bass guitar, with three front vocalists part of the lineup. Their repertoire recreates radio edit versions of current chart songs alongside older dance hits, R&B mashups and cabaret material. You could make that mixture a featured set after the formalities, with the musicians bringing a background that already includes headlining three outdoor festivals to the group's live performance experience.
