The act
Gypsy jazz, played by a Hobart trio that expands to a quartet when the room calls for it. ABC Radio National's Michael Mackenzie described the band as wearing its gypsy jazz heart on its sleeve and launching from there into the musical stratosphere. Guitar and violin lead the sound, drawing on the 20s through to the 50s, and it works as easily under a corporate dinner as it does over a dance floor. Weddings, festivals, functions and parties around Tasmania. Original material sits alongside the standards. Acoustic, warm, and considerably livelier than most people expect jazz to be.
