That's how this Perth DJ describes the aim, and the sets pull from R&B, dance, pop culture, Afrobeats, house and nu disco, baile funk, hip hop and the 80s and 90s. Corporate gigs, birthdays, school discos, a 50th anniversary and an engagement party are all on the record, along with WA Bike Month Festival run by the City of Melville. The gear is all owned outright: Pioneer all-in-one decks, PA speakers, a custom booth, party lights, smoke machine and a microphone. Independent, and there's a genuine pleasure in it, introducing people to music they didn't expect to like.
