Leah Tait works solo in Adelaide as an acoustic musician and a DJ, and sometimes as both across one event, singing over the DJ set to keep the room moving. Covers run broad: Bill Withers, Fleetwood-era classics, Amy Shark, Harry Styles, Carrie Underwood, Crowded House, the Beatles. Weddings, birthdays and corporate functions. A second musician can be added for a duo, on guitar, banjo, violin, cello, drums or sax. Ceremony work is built around 45 minute sets, with an aisle song, a signing song and a recessional chosen by you, plus background music either side. All she needs is power, and she brings gear to suit the space.

What to expect
One person, several instruments. Leah sings with guitar, ukulele or piano, and runs percussion tracks underneath the acoustic sets so the sound fills a room more than a solo act usually would. The covers range widely enough that a mixed guest list all finds something they know. She also DJs, and will sing over the top of a DJ set to keep the energy up, so one booking can carry a night from a mellow start through to a party finish. A second musician can be added as a duo, on guitar, banjo, violin, cello, drums or saxophone.
On the day
A power source is all she needs from the venue, and she brings equipment suited to whatever the space is. Unpowered speakers are an option where there's no mains available, though that rules out the keyboard, so it's worth knowing which instruments you want before deciding. The DJ setup is compact and discreet, so it doesn't need much room or dominate the corner it sits in.
Set List
The acoustic list is long and it wanders in the best way. Bill Withers sits near Michael Jackson, Simon and Garfunkel near Dua Lipa. There's Ain't No Mountain High Enough, Bridge Over Troubled Water, Blackbird and Brown Eyed Girl for the older end of the room, and Adore You, Big Jet Plane, Budapest and Don't Start Now for the younger. Wedding staples are covered too, A Thousand Years and Can't Help Falling In Love among them, plus Bette Davis Eyes, Bad Moon Rising, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Dancing In The Moonlight, Better Together and Don't Dream It's Over. It goes well beyond this, so ask about anything you're hoping to hear.
Performance options
Ceremony music runs as a 45 minute set built around three songs you choose: the aisle, the signing of the register and the recessional, with background music either side so nobody's standing in silence. That can extend into a canapes set at the same location. The full day option adds four 45 minute sets across drinks and dinner, progressing from love songs into upbeat material, with your first dance song included. Inclusions cover a 2000 watt PA and a microphone on a stand for speeches, and there are video catch-ups beforehand plus a short recording of your aisle song sent ahead of the day. DJ services can round out the night.
