JL Fox

The act

JL Fox is a Lutwyche-based DJ.

The room starts easy and loose with JL Fox, then gathers pace as the night moves on. Based in Lutwyche in Queensland, she's a DJ, vocalist and MC who mixes open format sets with live singing, so you're not just hearing tracks played back to back. That matters at a wedding, because the music can sit quietly through canapes or early drinks and still have somewhere to go later. There's a real knack here for reading the crowd and shifting from sunset mood into bigger dance floor songs without it feeling abrupt. Most of all, this is the kind of act you'd want to hear as the dance floor starts filling and the room is ready to lean in.
