Steve and NJ were thrown together at the last minute to cover a corporate function in 2008. It went well enough that they kept going, and Diffusion has been building its repertoire ever since. Classic hits and modern rock from the 1960s to now, chosen so every track lands the moment it starts: The Beatles, Ed Sheeran, CCR, Cold Chisel, Depeche Mode, Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, Pearl Jam, Robbie Williams. The arrangements stay close to the originals with a bit of themselves in there. Vocal harmonies are a big part of the sound. They own all their gear, so no in-house system is needed, and set up takes two to three hours. Brisbane based, and they'll learn a song for your event if there's time.

What to expect
Steve and NJ don't stand still, which sounds trivial and isn't. Wireless systems let both of them move around the stage and get close to the crowd rather than staying rooted to a mic stand all night. The songs are chosen on one test: does it land the second it starts? Arrangements stay close to the original with a bit of themselves worked in, and harmonies do a lot of the heavy lifting. Sixties through to now, so the room gets covered.
On the day
Allow two to three hours for a standard setup. They own every piece of equipment they use, which means no borrowing the venue's in-house system and no surprises about whether it works. Steve runs a production company, so the audio, lighting and staging gear is the good stuff, and the rig gets tailored to the room rather than turning up one size fits all. He's a qualified audio engineer as well.

Performance options
Nothing off the shelf. Tell them the size of the venue, the timing and what the night is for, and they'll put together something that fits. They work in rooms both large and small, and the production scales either way.
