What to expect
A wedding done end to end, and Danny clearly enjoys the shape of the day. Acoustic looping while guests arrive at the ceremony, then the specific songs he's learned for the two of you, then relaxed music through dinner, then something more upbeat once people have finished eating, and finally a DJ set where he'll sometimes cut the track and let the whole room sing it instead. He arrives at least an hour before the ceremony with his own PA, instruments, mics and lighting, and packs down and re-sets between the ceremony, canapes and reception. Speech mics can come from him if the venue hasn't got them.
On the day
Power for the PA, and that's genuinely it, since the rest of the gear comes with him. If you've picked a spot with no power at all, he can work off a small battery powered amp instead.
Set List
More than ten hours of material, so a long day doesn't mean hearing anything twice, and he'll learn extra songs on request. Adele's Make You Feel My Love, Rumour Has It and Send My Love, Say Something, If I Ain't Got You, Psycho by Amy Shark, Valerie, Steal My Kisses, Ain't No Sunshine and Lean On Me, Butterfly Kisses, Masters Of War, Skinny Love, I Can't Make You Love Me, Dancing In The Dark and I'm On Fire, Boom Clap, We Don't Talk Anymore, A Thousand Years. Coldplay turn up often, with Fix You, Magic, Princess Of China, A Sky Full Of Stars, The Scientist and Yellow. Then Better Be Home Soon, Get Lucky, Horses, Travelin' Soldier, Next Year by Donovan Woods, Hold On We're Going Home, Mercy, Save Tonight, Cool Kids, Happier and Perfect, On My Mind, Can't Help Falling In Love, Next To Me, Best Of You, Pumped Up Kicks, Casanova and Two Shades Of Hope by Foy Vance, Fly Me To The Moon, I'll Be Around by Garrett Kato, Hearts On Fire, Budapest, Faith and Iris. A couple of his own songs are in there too, Hey Man and People Say.
Performance options
Three lengths, all built around a wedding day. The short one covers ceremony and canapes with live acoustic music, fifteen minutes of pre-ceremony playing, live or cued versions of your chosen songs for the special moments, and a sound system that includes battery speakers for venues with no power. The middle one adds a DJ set with lighting and a wireless mic for speeches, and gives you the option of a second musician for a duo. The longest stretches across ceremony, canapes and reception with the same inclusions, so the music runs the whole day without a handover. Outside weddings, he plays acoustic covers at local venues.
