The act
A looping pedal, a stack of instruments and a tenor sax over the top. Dally Sparkles builds each song live in Berri, layering parts until it sounds like a full band, then plays sax across it. The repertoire runs past 120 songs and keeps growing: Billie Jean, Sweet Caroline, Khe Sanh, Moondance, Creep, Flame Trees, Dancing Queen, Brown Eyed Girl, Teenage Dirtbag, The Gambler. Sing-along territory, mostly. And if someone in the crowd wants the microphone, they can have it. New songs can be learned with enough notice. Dinner service, pub gardens, that sort of room. Power and some cover from sun or rain, though he can bring his own shade.

Good to know
On the day
Power, and ideally somewhere with cover over it. Sun and rain both cause problems for a rig with this much gear in it, so a verandah, a marquee or an indoor corner is the easiest answer. If the only spot you've got is open, say so when you enquire, because Dally can bring his own shade for sun. Rain is harder, so a wet-weather plan is worth having. Put him where people eating or drinking can hear him without shouting over him.
Performance options
No menu of options to work through. Dally keeps it to a single package, booked by the hour, with three hours the shortest he'll take. That covers the looping rig, the instruments and the sax, all of it. Straightforward enough that most people have it sorted in one message.
