The act
Close vocal harmonies and percussive rhythms are where The Record Breakers live, and they take classics from the 60s, 70s and 80s and give them their own turn. The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Crowded House, ABBA, Creedence Clearwater Revival, with newer material slipped in where it fits. Gold Coast based, and the size flexes from duo to trio to a four or five-piece, which means the same band can handle a ceremony, canapes and a full reception dance floor without you booking three acts. They bring their own sound and lighting, and can perform without power if you tell them in advance. Insured.

Good to know
What to expect
Two very different jobs, one band. Ask for the slower end and you'll get easy afternoon music for canapes, the sort that lets conversation carry on over the top. Ask for the other end and they'll fill the dance floor. Close harmonies and percussive rhythm are the constant either way, with 60s, 70s and 80s classics reworked rather than copied.
On the day
Sound and lighting are theirs, all of it. What they need is power, ideally a double power point near where they're playing. They can also play a set with no power at all, but that changes how they set up, so flag it well before the day and they'll plan the sound around it.
Performance options
Wedding bookings are split by part of the day, so you can take them for the ceremony, the canapes, the reception, or the lot. Separate options exist for private functions and corporate events.
