Groove Dimension 70s Funk, RnB, Disco, Soul
The act
Groove Dimension 70s Funk, RnB, Disco, Soul is a Melbourne-based corporate band.
As dinner gives way to dancing at your wedding, Groove Dimension leans towards that point in the night. They're a ten piece band from Melbourne playing 70s funk, RnB, disco and soul live on stage, with no backing tracks. The lineup is big: two lead singers, three horns, a dedicated percussionist, plus guitar, keys, bass and drums. The set centres on standards, hits and anthems from that era, so the feel stays firmly with the 70s. The moment that suits them most neatly is that first proper block of dancing, when disco and soul feel right at home.
