Cold Snap
The act
Cold Snap have been part of Melbourne's blues scene since 2007. Six pieces, fronted by husband and wife Joe and Sonia Valenti, playing blues with funk, soul and R&B pushed through it. The festival list is long: Wangaratta Jazz and Blues, Eltham Jazz and Blues, Echuca Winter Blues, Bendigo Blues and Roots, Alice Springs Blues Festival, the MotoGP at Phillip Island and The Blues Train. It's energetic stuff, and the affection between the two of them at the front is a big part of why the room comes along with it.
