Craig spent the 90s and 2000s playing bass in Perth pub bands and around the South West. Coastal Sound came together for a simpler reason: the players just wanted to keep gigging. The set is mostly acoustic and semi acoustic, running from the sixties to now, and electric guitars get added when a song wants them. New material goes in steadily. Expect What's Up, You Shook Me All Night Long, House of the Rising Sun, Wicked Game, Zombie, Mr Jones, Knockin' on Heaven's Door and a decent run of Creedence. All they need on site is power, and cover if the weather looks like turning.

It suits a room where people want to hear each other talk between songs but still recognise everything being played.
Two things only. Power, and somewhere under cover if the forecast looks doubtful. Instruments and gear don't cope with rain, so an outdoor booking needs a roof of some kind sorted before the day rather than improvised at the last minute. Beyond that they work with what the room gives them.
