The act
City Groove work as a five piece out of Brisbane, playing radio hits with a lot of soul underneath. The usual shape of the night is easy lounge material early while people are still talking, then a lift into current chart songs once the food is done. Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, James Brown, Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams, Maroon 5, Jessie J and Adele all turn up, and the span runs from the 60s to now. The players have been at this together for over two decades. If five is the wrong number for your room, the band scales anywhere from a duo to eight.
