The act
Chloe Jade writes pop-folk out of Victoria's North East. Her first studio release sat at number one on The Atomic Music Countdown for seven weeks, and she's supported Alice Skye and Harmony Byrne. Live it's a stomp box and a loop pedal, which lets her put lead acoustic guitar underneath her own vocals, and the set mixes her originals with renditions of songs people know. Pop, folk, blues and country all leave a mark on it. The style is laid-back acoustic, so afternoon sessions and dinner services suit it best. Typically three 45 minute sets, though she'll shift that. She brings her own sound and lighting. Wangaratta based, holding a WWCC and public liability cover, and she works with a professional DJ on wedding bookings.

Good to know
What to expect
Chloe writes pop-folk, and the live sound has been described as laid-back acoustic, which is about right. Pop, folk, blues and country all leave marks on it. You'll get her own songs sitting alongside her versions of songs the room already knows. The stomp box and loop pedal do a lot of the lifting, letting her play lead acoustic guitar over the top of her own vocals rather than strumming under them. Three 45 minute sets is the usual shape, and she'll do more or less if your run sheet needs it. Afternoons and dinner service suit her best.
On the day
Sound production and lighting both come from Chloe, so nothing needs hiring in and there's no venue PA to sort out. Tell her the size of the room when you enquire so she can bring the right amount of gear.
Performance options
Chloe Jade performs solo, and for weddings she teams up with a professional DJ so the live music and the dance floor later on are handled by the one booking. That combination is offered as a wedding option rather than something you have to assemble yourself from two separate acts. Tell her what shape the day takes and she will work out which parts she covers herself and which the DJ picks up.
