Brightside suits couples who want one booking to move from a smaller ceremony line up into a full wedding band at the reception. The Newcastle group works as four or five players, with sax or keys available, while a duo or trio can cover the earlier part of the day. Their repertoire mixes modern country with Australian favourites and pop singalongs, from Beautiful Crazy and Chicken Fried to April Sun in Cuba, Get Lucky and Footloose. Special song requests are welcome, and music can continue between live sets so the room keeps its momentum. The strongest option is that smaller ceremony and canape performance flowing into the larger band once the reception begins.

They arrive with everything: PA, instruments, leads, microphones, the lot. Sets usually run 40 to 60 minutes. If there's a song that has to be played, ask and they'll work it in, and they'll also sort the music that plays between sets so the room doesn't go flat. If you're putting together a run sheet, they'll help with that too.
Power, and a performance space of roughly two metres by three at minimum. If the event is outdoors, cover in case the weather turns. Travel over two hours means accommodation gets built into the quote, and meals for the band members are needed on the day.
