No music stand, no tablet, no lyrics sheet. Bobby carries every song from memory, and a wireless headset mic means no mic stand either, so nothing gets in the way of moving through the crowd and dancing mid song. Backing tracks fill the sound out to full band scale through a Bose PA that takes up almost no room and doesn't even need a power point. Setup runs 15 to 30 minutes, indoors or out. The set is built from singalong material: Sweet Caroline, That's Amore, Brown Eyed Girl, Sway, Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Newcastle audiences have been getting this treatment for more than 20 years, backed by 30 million dollars in public liability cover.

Good to know
What to expect
Bobby doesn't sit down. Not once. He's out in the room getting people singing along and up on their feet, dancing while he sings, and there's no music stand or tablet in front of him because the lyrics are all in his head. The mic is a wireless headworn one, so there's no stand either, nothing between him and the crowd. Backing tracks fill it out so it sounds like a band rather than one bloke. And the Bose rig he uses takes up barely any floor space, which he'll happily tell you is one of the best PAs going.
On the day
Nothing for you to arrange. He brings his own PA and lighting, needs 15 to 30 minutes to get set up, and takes up very little room. He doesn't even need a power point. Indoors or outdoors both work.
Set List
The list is built around songs people know the words to. Crooner material sits in there: Just the Way You Look Tonight, Fly Me to the Moon, I've Got the World on a String, The More I See You, Besame Mucho, Sway. Then the rock and roll and sixties end, with I Saw Her Standing There, Runaround Sue, Under the Boardwalk, Pretty Woman, Rock Around the Clock, Blue Suede Shoes, Twist and Shout, La Bamba and Let's Twist Again. Sweet Caroline, That's Amore, Brown Eyed Girl, My Girl, What a Wonderful World, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and Can't Take My Eyes Off You are regulars. Late in the night it tips into party territory: September, Celebration, Funkytown, Nutbush City Limits, YMCA, Macarena, Livin' la Vida Loca, All Night Long and Get Down Tonight. There's plenty more where that came from.
Performance options
Bookings are set by how long you want him playing rather than by named packages. A single hour suits a charity function or an aged care home visit. From there it steps up: two to three hours, four to five hours, or a whole day where an event runs long. Regular ongoing gigs get talked through separately. Tell him the run time you have in mind when you enquire and he will confirm what fits.
