When your wedding floor is ready to fill, Birdman Randy and The Ivory Street Preachers bring soul, Motown, jazz and calypso into the room. The full time musicians have been leading dance floors since 2014. Their usual five member band can be adapted into trio or duo form, with a DJ option also available. Classic songs receive fresh treatments while keeping the familiar feeling of the material for guests on the wedding dance floor. That experience, combined with several formats and a clear dance focus, is the strongest part of the offer.

What to expect
These are full-time musicians, not weekend players, and they've been filling dancefloors since 2014. That shows up in the energy of the set more than anything they say about it. The other thing you get is one less job on your list. The band organises and runs the music themselves, so once you've told them where and when, the rest is handled. You're not standing next to a laptop wondering what happens between sets.
On the day
Barely anything. Access to power, and a spot to play that's safe and dry. That's the whole list. If you're doing something outdoors, the dry part is the bit to think about, so a marquee or an indoor fallback is worth having in your back pocket. Otherwise there's no stage spec to chase up or production to hire in before they arrive.
Performance options
Five piece is the usual shape of the band, and it's what most people book. But it scales down cleanly to a trio or a duo if the room is smaller or the brief is quieter, and there's a DJ package as well for the part of the night when a band isn't what you want. They can also supply the PA, production and lighting for events up to 2,000 people, so the sound side can come from the same place as the music. Give them the basics of your event and they'll put something together.
