Bioluminescence Entertainment is a Sydney-based fire performer.
Fire, illuminated costumes and movement give Bioluminescence Entertainment a visual language that goes well beyond a conventional music act. The Sydney duo draws on dance, roving characters, improvisation and stage performance. Shows can use hoops, fans, poi, staffs, fire breathing and fire dancing, or switch to LED wings and programmed images. Stilt walking, special effects and children's workshops can also be combined around the wedding, extending the experience beyond one stage show. This suits a couple who want a theatrical spectacle, playful characters and direct visual interaction with their guests.
Watch Bioluminescence Entertainment perform and get a feel for their sound, style and fit for your wedding.
Pricing is confirmed before anything is booked. GST and travel are shown clearly on the quote.
Fire one way, LED the other. The prop list is long and they use most of it: hula hoops, fans, poi, double staff and dragon staff, plus fire breathing, fire eating and fire dancing. The LED side brings glowing wings and costumes, and those costumes can be programmed to carry your logo or your own images through the routine, which is a nice touch for a branded night. Insured, first aid trained, and holding a Working With Children check.
Half an hour before showtime is what they ask for, and that's genuinely it. All the fire safety equipment comes with them, along with every prop in the act, so there's nothing for you to hire in or organise on the venue side. Just make sure they can get in and get set up without a crowd already standing where the performance area needs to be.
Things get combined here rather than sold as fixed bundles. Special effects, stilt walking and fire dancing can be packaged together into one show, and there are kids' workshops available as well if you want something hands on during the day. The right mix depends on the event, the space and how long you want performers in the room, so say what you're planning in your enquiry and they'll work it out from there.
