Billy Whitton......also...... Billy whitton & the Swingcats is a Hobart-based guitarist.
Billy Whitton suits a couple who want their wedding music to move between quiet guitar pieces and a fuller swing band. Solo material crosses jazz, blues and classic pop or rock covers, with instrumental playing and vocals both available. A duo adds a female singer, while the Swingcats band can explore swing, blues, reggae and funk coloured pop. Songs associated with Michael Bublé, Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra shape the swing side. This suits a wedding that wants one musician's style to scale from mellow listening to a dance ready group.

Billy is comfortable being told what a room wants rather than deciding for it.
