A conservatorium trained lead voice gives Between the Covers a strong musical centre. Becky holds a Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium and has performed with the act at weddings and private events. What to expect
Becky sings out front, with a Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium behind her. That shows up in the control rather than in anything showy. The duo have worked a run of Melbourne rooms: Riva St Kilda, Second Act, The Elwood Lounge, The Fifth Provence and The St Kilda Branch, plus two St Kilda Festivals back to back. So they're used to playing to a crowd that didn't turn up specifically to watch them. And they're just as comfortable at a private function or a wedding, where everyone did.
On the day
The PA comes with them on every booking. So there's no sound system to hire in, and nothing much to organise at your end beyond a spot to put them and the power to run it. Handy if your venue is a garden or a hall with nothing installed. Public liability insurance can be provided to the venue if they ask for it.
