Cornerstone Chorus

The act

Cornerstone Chorus is an Arundel-based barbershop chorus.

As guests settle before your wedding ceremony, a live chorus singing close harmony can give the room a very different kind of hush. Cornerstone Chorus centres on barbershop, but their repertoire also reaches into a cappella pop, rock, musical theatre, hymns and Christmas music, so the sound can lean traditional or a bit more playful. That feels especially suited to the ceremony itself, or to one featured song when you want voices to be the focus rather than instruments. Based in Arundel, Queensland, they were founded in 2020 and can perform anything from a custom song feature to a full-scale performance. Since then, they've won two national men's Barbershop Harmony Australia chorus competitions, taken silver at the 2023 Pan Pacific International Competition, and received the Platinum Award at the 2024 Gold Coast Eisteddfod.
