Lötti’s Potion
The act
Lötti’s Potion is a Bayswater-based band.
The room feels pretty one minute and gritty the next with Lötti’s Potion playing, built on a bluesy base and songs that run from the 1940s to the present. This Bayswater, WA trio features Suzie Thompson on vocals and ukulele, Erik Kowarski on violin, and John Perry on double bass. Their set reaches from blues and swing artists such as Etta James and Samantha Fish through to Neil Young, Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Coldplay and Radiohead, with original songs worked in as well. At a wedding, this sits naturally around dinner and drinks, much like the private parties and functions their source bio points to. A really nice match for a couple who want something warm, a little off-centre, and easy to enjoy across a mixed crowd.
