Aston is a Sydney-based string ensemble.
Popular songs take on a symphonic shape with Aston, whose arrangements would give you a different way to hear music you might choose for your wedding. Two violinists join cello, piano, guitar and percussion in a group formed by friends who met through music study. Their recordings include versions of Coldplay's Viva La Vida and Lady Gaga's Telephone, as well as Rihanna's Rude Boy. They also created The Monster Symphony, a ten minute work assembled from Lady Gaga songs, while their debut album topped the classical iTunes chart. Listen to the arrangements here and consider which side of your musical taste you would like this combination of instruments to explore.
Watch Aston perform and get a feel for their sound, style and fit for your wedding.
