Andrew Wallace's three piece are a Melbourne band: Andrew on vocals and guitars, Rob Kidd on bass and vocals, Peter Blight on drums with backing tracks filling out the arrangements. The list runs from Blinding Lights, Shotgun and Get Lucky, through Mr Brightside and Sex on Fire, back to Footloose, Billie Jean and Flame Trees, and on to Twist and Shout. Three musicians, no gaps in the sound. Andrew Wallace sings and plays guitar, Rob Kidd is on bass and vocals, and Peter Blight covers drums plus the backing tracks that fill out the arrangements. It's a compact line-up that still moves like a full band.
On the day
All the sound and lighting equipment is theirs, and it's included rather than quoted as an extra. Very large rooms and bigger outdoor events are the exception, since those sometimes need hired gear on top to fill the space properly.
