You can have it purely instrumental or ask for some light vocals through the set. It works as background music while people arrive and eat, and it also holds up as the thing everyone actually sits and watches. So it bends to whatever your event needs on the day.
Power within about 10 metres of where he plays, for the PA. A performance space of at least 2 by 2 metres. Outdoors, he needs cover from rain and direct sun. His own PA handles crowds up to around 150 guests, and for anything bigger the venue's in-house sound or an extra tech is worth sorting.
