The songs are rearranged covers and his own, in the styles of Robert Johnson, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix and John Mayer. Some of it is made for listening and some of it for dancing, which lets one wedding afternoon start quietly and end on its feet without a change of act. The moment to hear him is the stretch after dinner, when the ballads have done their work and the slide starts pulling people up.
