An acoustic set built around songs people already know, played by one bloke with a guitar and a sound system he owns himself. Weddings, birthdays, corporate nights and private functions are all regular work for Andre Mosca, and the setup travels light enough to fit most Adelaide rooms. If your night needs someone to keep things moving between songs, he'll take the microphone and MC as well, which saves you hiring a second person. Turn up, point at the corner you want him in, and that's about the extent of your job.
On the day
Not much, honestly. A spot to play is the whole list, because the sound system comes with him and he handles the setup himself. Somewhere near a power point helps.
Set List
The list leans on the songs a crowd will sing back at you. There's a solid ABBA run in there (Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Waterloo, Gimme Gimme Gimme), a big block of Adele from Hello and Rolling in the Deep through to Make You Feel My Love, plus AC/DC's Back In Black and It's A Long Way To The Top. Music on its own is the standard booking. MC work can be added on top of the playing, so one person covers both jobs across the night.
