What to expect
The band puts it plainly: if the music makes you dance, dance. If it makes you sing, sing. And if it makes you want to know more about Hawaiian culture, then that's the whole point of the show.
The sound of old Hawaii, played live: steel guitar, ukulele and double bass, wrapped in three-part harmonies. Aloha Baby are a Byron Bay based Hawaiian cultural show and a festival favourite, moving between cruisy island instrumentals and Hapa Haole, the Hawaiian style sung with English lyrics. The songbook runs deep, from Blue Hawaii and Pearly Shells to Sleepwalk and the Hawaiian War Chant. Book them as a duo or trio, and add hula dancers for the full spectacle. Outdoor shows need a shaded area, and the dancers need somewhere to change, which seems fair.
Watch Aloha Baby Hawaiian Show perform and get a feel for their sound, style and fit for your wedding.

The band puts it plainly: if the music makes you dance, dance. If it makes you sing, sing. And if it makes you want to know more about Hawaiian culture, then that's the whole point of the show.
For outdoor shows, a shaded area is required. And if you've booked the package that includes the hula dancers, they'll need a room to change in.
The songbook is old Hawaii, and it's a long one. Blue Hawaii, Pearly Shells, Little Grass Shack, Sleepwalk, Hawaiian War Chant, Hawaiian Wedding Song, Lovely Hula Hands, Sophisticated Hula, On the Beach at Waikiki, Harbour Lights, Aloha Oe, Now Is the Hour, Pagan Love Song, Ukulele Lady, Rock-A-Hula Baby, The Hukilau Song and Moon of Manakoora all feature, alongside their own Aloha Baby. There's Hawaiian language material too: Mai Poina Oe Iau, Haere Mai, Kohala March, Mapuana and Kalua among them.
The duo is ukulele, steel guitar and vocals. Add a double bass and you've got the trio. And the trio with hula dancers on top is the full version of the show, which is the one worth booking if you've got the space for it.
