Christian and Owen, performing as Cranky Duo, went down really well with our people and were perfectly suited to our semi-formal corporate function. They kept their music to a moderate level for the first half, increasing it a little for the last half to accommodate the dancers. Their variety of music was suitable to the varied age-groups amongst our guests. They were friendly, personable guys and easy to deal with, very accommodating. The act
Christian Parkinson has spent more than 15 years fronting bands and playing acoustic solo sets across WA and the east coast, at festivals, bars, weddings and corporate functions. Acoustic Royale is his outlet for that songbook, running as a soloist or a duo, and along the way he's shared stages with members of some of Australia's biggest rock acts, Diesel, The Angels, The Screaming Jets and Rose Tattoo among them. But he knows when to hold back. One corporate client praised the duo for keeping the volume moderate through the first half of the night and lifting it later, which is exactly the judgement you want at a function.
