The act
Modern pop, sung properly, over one acoustic guitar. Abi Muir performs as a duo with her partner Jayden, and the set leans on Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo and Ed Sheeran, with Dolly Parton and Billy Joel for the older side and Queen, Abba, Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin as the family favourites. Each set is a dozen or so songs, around fifty minutes, and she doesn't fill the gaps with chat; the vocals stay in front and the songs are tailored to your guests. There's another side too, an In The Round show of her own songs and the stories behind them, which could suit a long dinner. Cairns based, with a wedding package covering cocktail hour and reception; hear the two of them over drinks, elegant and never overpowering the conversation.

What to expect
She performs as a duo with her partner Jayden on an Epiphone acoustic, and the standard set mixes modern pop with laid back love ballads, older classics and enough up tempo material to get people moving. Each set is around 12 to 14 songs, roughly 50 minutes, followed by a 10 minute break. She doesn't pad the set with chat between songs. The exception is if you specifically want the originals singer-songwriter In The Round show, where the talking is the point. Songs and mood get tailored to your guests, with the vocals kept front and centre.
On the day
All the professional equipment can be supplied. The duo needs a covered area of roughly 2 square metres with a power supply within 5 metres of it.
Set List
Pop is her home ground and she says so plainly. Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo sit next to Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift and SZA, with Harry Styles, Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran on the other side of it. Then Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers, Billie Eilish, Carly Rae Jepsen, Anne-Marie, Meghan Trainor and Rihanna, with Keane and Jason Mraz in the mix. Then there's the older side: Adele, Billy Joel, Mark Ronson, Dolly Parton, and the family favourites that never miss, Abba, Queen, Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley and Whitney Houston.
Performance options
She has packages for weddings including reception and cocktail hour, for restaurant and bar gigs running one to three hours of acoustic covers, and for corporate events with a tailor-made set list if you want one. Festivals and public events can take covers or a full original set. There's also the Corporate Songwriter In The Round show, an intimate acoustic set of her own songs where she talks through the stories and lyrics behind them.
