Support slots for The Screaming Jets, Jon Stevens, Angry Anderson, Ross Wilson and The Waifs sit on Aaron Courtney's CV, and he's been performing since 1998. He's a multi-instrumentalist, at home on drums, guitar and bass as well as vocals, and in 2005 he released an EP of his own songs. Playing solo he offers two gears: purely acoustic for a laid back afternoon, or with backing tracks when the crowd wants to dance. The set leans classic rock and country, Rose Tattoo and ZZ Top one minute, Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen the next. Based in Halls Head, he's played weddings, corporate functions, pubs and parties all over Australia.

What to expect
Aaron has been playing to audiences around Australia since 1998, and the shows lean high energy and good humoured. He's a multi-instrumentalist, and it shows in the arrangements. Before going solo he drummed in several Western Australian bands, among them The Banana Spliffs, Cadence and New Fourth Army, which is how he ended up supporting The Screaming Jets, Ross Wilson, Angry Anderson, The Waifs, Jesse Hooper from Killing Heidi and more recently Jon Stevens. His repertoire stretches from sixties classics through to recent hits, with a few of his own songs from the EP Apathite worked into the night. He takes requests, and there's a fair bit of talk between songs.
